Since these are small drawings that adorn a book, I thought I'd include a zoomed-in version to show some brushwork and personality, and most importantly that the work was done by hand and not by an AI.
I was lucky enough to work on this soon to be published project for the guys at Troll Lord Game, who I have to thank for the permission to publish it.

These are just a few of the 140+ ornament drawings I did for their series of rpg books and board game manuals. They are either icon or very small drawings, but I included closeups to show some details.

The work involved creating a collection of armor, swords, cloaks, breastplates, armor and in general a lot of fantasy-style equipment belonging to the various human and monstrous factions that populate the game.

I am very pleased with this sketchy style and how the designs married with a brush that imitates a traditional pencil quite well, giving the idea of old sketches made by an observer in the field. I hope for more work like this in the future, because especially the small adornments were really fun and rewarding to draw.
