Mountain Lake Sunset

I created this work starting from a sketch / study / speedpaint done years ago, a very rough thumbnail thing.

The purpose was to greatly improve the composition of the image and my brushwork, and also improve the contrast and colors. I'm still in doubt if the snow on the valley were a good idea.

I have always loved fantastic mountain landscapes, they are one of the things that give me the most inspiration for my work, so I am lucky that a few hours from where I live and with a little hike I can admire mountain peaks and lakes, rivers in the gorges and small beautiful waterfalls.
